Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council have announced Nursing Admission Circular 2020-21 for BSc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery, and Diploma in Midwifery Courses. In this post, you will find all relevant information about Nursing Admission in Bangladesh.

Nursing Admission Circular 2020-21 Details

Who is Eligible to Apply?

  • Must be Bangladeshi nationals
  • Maximum age 22 years
  • SSC in 2017/2018
  • HSC in 2019/2020

For BSc in Nursing:

Total minimum GPA 7.00 in SSC and HSC from Science faculty. Must have 3.00 in Biology for each exam. GPA less than 3.00 in any exam is not acceptable.

For Diploma in Nursing Science/ Midwifery:

Minimum total GPA 6.00 in SSC and HSC from any faculty. A GPA less than 2.50 in any exam will not be acceptable.

Application Deadline: August 17, 2021

Nursing Admission Test Details

The total evaluation mark is 150. The GPA of SSC will be multiplied by 4 which is a maximum of 20. And the GPA of HSC will be multiplied by 6 which is a maximum of 30.

There will be a test exam for 100 marks distributed as follows:

For BSc in Nursing Course:

  • Bangla – 20
  • English – 20
  • Mathematics – 10
  • Biology, Physics and Chemistry – 30
  • General Knowledge – 20

For Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery Course:

  • Bangla – 20
  • English – 20
  • Mathematics – 10
  • General Science – 25
  • General Knowledge – 25

So, the total evaluation mark is (20 + 30 + 100) = 150
